The smelling salts are hitting different today Mike that Vegas trip took literally years off my life that was an absolute sender man for those who don't know Mike myself handful of other guys

PFF went to Vegas and and kind of just lit the city on fire for five days. I think Vegas has been on fire for a few decades now, but yeah, we tried it was it was good time. Not a lot of stories. We'd be telling the podcast was fun. We were singing through like three or four. I was like, nope, nope, nope. But the one I do want to tell is this was actually of some people were mentioning this picture I put on Instagram where you're sleeping. You slept after this whole event here.

1:24.5

We went to brunch at the wicked spoon, which is like this buffet and cosmopolitan and there only allowed it was mother's day to the busiest day to get brunch. We stood lying hung over his health like two and a half hours is the worst. That was the worst part of my life, but then the other part we get in the wicked spoon. They're like, hey, you have an hour and a half bottom most of bottomless mimosas for an hour and a half and then you had to leave. It's like, okay, the challenge accepted. We just are going down all in just mimosas after mimosas. You're going after trying to get 15.

1:54.5

20, 25 and then we're like, we're like an hour and a half in. We just like keep going and then we ask our waitress, who is turns out to be an absolute legend.

2:04.5

Yeah, if we could just shift to just champagne and like screw the OJ and we just keep going in and at one point, dude, we're getting pretty soft stuff at one point. She says something like, we ask her for another ball of champagne. We're like two hours in. She's like, yeah, what do you think? I'm the game maker.

2:20.5

And we all like kind of laughed at the table. And then we're like, when she walked there, we're like, what the fuck is the game maker? We end up taking a picture with her. Yeah, I was a couple bottles away.

2:30.5

She couldn't figure out how to use the camera. I asked her to take a picture of us. She couldn't figure it out. We're like, I'll take a picture and that didn't end up working out either.

2:39.5

Cause I think I had, that's think I was like 15 or two, when an insane branch. Yeah. So for an hour and a half limit turned, we were there for four hours. Yeah, almost four hours after an hour and a half limit. So that was, I was excited.

2:51.5

I was pretty just indicative of the weekend. We did run into a guy who was two point dress listener. Oh, let's go.

2:57.5

And I core, I believe I don't remember enough about the interaction. But I think the listen and reach out again.

3:04.5

I honestly don't remember anyone I met in Vegas outside of the freaking game maker, the game maker will literally live forever. I have to get the picture. We'll send it to Quentin. Maybe Quentin put on the YouTube video.

3:14.5

It was hilarious. She wasn't even like, it wasn't even that far into it. Like she just says that. Yeah. And we're like, she said the fucking tone dude. I thought it was like the funny thing to say.

3:25.5

Then we're like, that doesn't even make sense. Like what are you talking about? But yeah, she was, she was sweet, man. She was sweet. All right. Let's get into some actual NFL draft stuff. You're looking at offensive rookie of the year and defensive rookie of the year candidates. You wrote an article for pff.com looking at some of the best bets to make. Because obviously it's like, it's tough. When you're the offensive.

3:44.5

The offensive rookie of the year, the favorites, obviously, Trevor Lawrence, right? I'm like, oh man. This is who it should be. It's like, no, Trevor Lawrence is going to be the favorite. What were your best? What was your best offensive rookie, the year bet? And obviously was a Trevor. So the odds are right now, plus Trevor Lawrence, plus 300.

4:00.5

Obviously, the favorite Justin feels trailants, plus 600 Zach Wilson, plus 700, then Najie Harris, plus 800 because if you go back and look, quarterbacks and running backs dominate. Yeah, the, the one because court of like the statistically quarterbacks get fit, get sort of deference in the rookie of the year voting.

4:18.5

Like if they have any sort of good season whatsoever, usually goes to quarterback, like Kyler Murray, got it a couple of years back when statistically, he was not even like a top 15 quarterback in the NFL.

4:27.5

Josh Jacob, so it's like, and Jacob's head like over 1200 yards. So it gives deference to them. But then obviously running backs, hit the ground, running quite literally compared other positions in terms of how well they translate the NFL. So then they obviously get pumped up in these as well. Gotcha. But I think this year could change. It could be a little bit different.

4:49.5

Because we got some, because I definitely think Justin Jefferson should have won it last year. Yes. Oh, I agree. I mean, that's the season, comparatively to why receivers historically was different. Yeah, but it's literally the most receiving yards in a really season ever.

5:02.5

But I will say that Jamar chase and Cal pits, I think have legitimate shots. Now they're not in the top, whatever, six year for the offensive rookie of the year. But if I was going to put down a bet, Trevor Lawrence, plus 300 still feels like a great bet.

5:16.5

True. Because one, he's got a fairly good situation for development. He's not surrounded by shit talent. Like they have DJ chart. They have LaViscational. They have Marvin Jones Jr. They have Tim Tebow.

5:30.5

That's right. Ever heard of him. Time sets the end. They have an offensive line. That's while not great. They were 21st rank last year and bring everybody back. That's not obviously I had to walk a little on the second round as well this year. So
