kind of fitting, I'm going solo, I'm solo today and the reason that's fitting is because

I'm talking to Remy Warren, solo hunter, professional elk guide, hunting extraordinaire, just

an all around great guy, and we're going to talk today about archery elk hunting and

I think the focus here is going to be like towards maybe the first time elk hunter or the

elk hunter is like I just want to get one, I'm not trying to call a herd bull, I don't

need to get a giant, you know, I likely I've gotten over the counter tag or maybe a tag

where I've got one or two points invested, I just want to get an elk and that could be,

you know, could be a herd bull, fingers crossed right, could be a less mature bull, could

even be a cow, like you just want to get an elk, have a good time, put some meat in the

freezer, and get the most out of what will likely be an eventful September.

So Remy, welcome, you are, you're kind of, you're coming off a hunt right now and you're

semi on location, so real quick, what's going on there, man?

Well, yeah, I just came off a 14 day backpack sheep hunt, didn't see a legal ramp, so yeah,

like it was a good hunt though, I mean, just left it all on the mountain, I don't know if

I'll get a chance to go back or not, but it was a great hunt now, elk season started,

you know, it's coming up September 1st, so I'm going to be headed out elk hunting,

I got my stuff in the vehicle here, and it was just like one on after the other, because

I kind of went a little bit longer on the last one, but like you said, I mean, elk season

is kind of my bread and butter, and if you just want to get an elk, I'm your guy, I'm
