display straight from Pan Am in the Hunger Games. People dressed in idiotic costumes, the height of culture, people who are

showing fashion to the rest of society, which usually means androgyny, people dress like shower

curtains, and all of the rest.

But there was something that was kind of fascinating about this year's Met Galla.

And that was the theme.

So the theme of this year's Met Gallup was Garden of Time. It was based on a short story by an author named J.G. Ballard from 1962. J.G. Ballard, sort of an interesting character, politically heterodox, not somebody who's sort of straight line, party line left, but also not somebody who was right wing. He considered himself moderate. But this story, Garden of Time, is a fascinating story.

And this is what the theme of the Met Gala is.

And it's fascinating because it has something to say about the status of our society and the elites within our society.

So the story of Garden of Time from 1962 is basically about this couple who is stuck in the past.
