My mom was just in a really tough spot when I was around two years old.

I ended up going with my dad and like his mom.

My dad was still really young.

My dad was 18 when I was born.

My mom, honestly, I didn't really, like say me because I don't remember like my mom when I was a baby. I didn't really physically see her again until I was nine, ten years old. But then when I was about six, seven years old, my dad ended up going to prison and he was in there until I was about 11, 12. My grandmother played a huge role in helping him with me. My older sister and I, we have different dads. So back then, like the system did not keep us together. We got separated. I didn't get to

see my oldest sister again until I was about 9, 10. That same day that I saw my mom, I got to

see my older sister again. I feel like it took so much from me growing up that I refused to allow it to take for me in my adult life.
