But you definitely want to be a level-headed when you respond to all of your reviews. I know sometimes it can be really upsetting to get a negative review. So we've done about 200 episodes of the Hair Game podcast over the last three and a half years.

And, you know, I'm so humbled by the idea that you've given me your time and

attention every Monday and I keep thinking about how can I reward you for that time and

attention how could I make it the best hour of your week literally how can I make this the

most valuable hour of your week and I keep coming to essentially one answer, which really boil down to the themes on the

podcast, especially in the more recent episodes, let's say in the last year, you know,

through coronavirus, obviously we had certain topics.

And it really seems like the themes have come down to trying to encourage your

curiosity, your drive, your resilience, and your self-determination. These are the ingredients that I

believe lead to living a happy and successful life and I also believe maybe more

importantly that we all have that ability but only if we decide only if we

decide to be curious only if we decide to indulge in those those tendencies to be ambitious and to have drives.

Only if we decide to be resilient and only if we decide to be self-determined.

You know, so many of us oftentimes look to our left, look to our right, and look towards

other people to essentially bring us happiness and help us be successful. But that's not

really the way it works, right? Because those people that we're looking at to our left and to our

right, they're trying to do shit on their own. Like they have their own stuff to worry about.

So, you know, curiosity, drive, resilience, and self-determination.

Those are the most important ingredients in life, I believe.
