first of all. So, yeah, let me explain. This isn't going to be some sort of football

bashing podcast. Well, I hope it isn't. It was better off in my day, that sort of thing, because I don't

actually believe that. I believe it's just different. Though what I want to know is, is it still for me?

I'll let you into a little secret here. I've tried to walk a while from football a few

times for various reasons, which I'll go into in a minute, but it seems that football is sort of,

well, how do you put it? It's just really hard to get rid of, isn't it? And it keeps dragging me

back. So this podcast is a discussion on football, the industry and whether it's in good hands at the moment, whether

it's on the right track or whether it's lost its way a bit. I mean, I think everyone can agree

that the way we're running VAR, the offside law and handball a total dog shit. Anyway, we want to

discuss what we like and what we're struggling with. My number one complaint is always contact leaving the game,

and I'm sure we'll discuss that a lot.

And if this podcast continues,

we'll probably discuss that every week because it drives me nuts.

I believe football is also a good metaphor for what's going on in the world

and what we are accepting as humans.

So I reckon it's going to take about two months

for us to sort out the football world and the actual world. So keep going to keep joining us on
