Hi everybody, Tom Woods here.

I'm beginning a series today of two episodes, and each of these will be standalone.

So you can listen to each of them independently of the other,

but it'll be more productive if you listen to this one first.

And episode 1908 second, what I'm doing is revisiting the financial crisis of 2008.

And although I've covered this obviously on the show from time to time

because I did write the book Meltdown back in 2009,

and that's before I started the podcast, but naturally,

books you write become themes of your podcast over the years.

This is probably the most detail I've gone into.

And in particular, the next episode 1908 will address specifically the claim

that deregulation caused the crisis.
