Hey folks, Tom Woods here. Catherine Huig is back with us today. She is just outstanding.

over there. It sounds like restrictions are being lifted, but I want to get the whole story. And

there's a lot to tell. Catherine, welcome back. Thank you for having me again. Let's talk Ohio for

a little while here. I was recording an episode not long ago and I realized as I was speaking that I

didn't have the information at my fingertips that I wanted to have. Your governor for a long time

has been saying there's a particular metric that he's looking at. And that when a number of other

states started to drop mask mandates and remove restrictions, he said that he was unmoved. We have a

scientific figure here that we're looking at. It's going to be down to 50 cases per 100,000. And when

we reach that, then we'll think about lifting mask mandates and restrictions and so forth.

But then very recently, we got this announcement that I guess June 1st, they're going to lift

restrictions or something. Is that what it is as June 1st? June 2nd. June 2nd. Okay. So but very,

very close. And so I thought, okay, well, one of two things happened either they reached that number or

the governor just decided to act with it. I mean, at some point I have to stop doing this. So now

it's good a time as any. But I don't actually know which one of those two it really is. So I wanted

you to explain what really happened. Well, so there's a couple of different things going on here.

One thing that we're pretty suspicious about that what happened here is the last time you had
