Our guest today is the great Marco Basani, who is a professor of the history of political theory

at the University of Milan in Italy.

And he is the author of the brand new book,

Chaining Down Leviathan, the American Dream of Self-Government,

I'm a huge fan of Marco Basani, brilliant guy.
