Summary

Stranded in a snow storm in a hotel room in DC, I cover Phenomenology, Husserl and Merleau-Ponty. Phenomenology is the study of subjective perception and Merleau-Ponty grounds perception in the body and in the "flesh of the world". How French is that? I also look at what it means to "stay present". It's the buzz phrase of the time, but how in the hell does anybody really do that? Also, what does this have to do with Pippi Longstocking? 1:25.0	And I didn't even know if I was going to make it here this week because there's snowstorms, incredible snowstorms.
1:32.0	And I didn't sleep the night before last because I was like, oh, it fights going to get canceled.
1:37.0	And I won't be able to read bookend.
1:40.0	And then I can't, I can't have to wash the D.C. and do my shows.
1:43.0	And they're going to have to cancel my show.
1:47.0	Right? Panic.
1:48.0	Chaos. That's what happens in my brain.
1:51.0	Instead of like, oh, I'm sure it'll be fine.
1:55.0	I'm sure everything will resolve itself and I'll be able to handle what comes.
