Welcome to talking scripture. I am Mike and I'm Bryce and today we are going to be in Revelation chapter 5 and in this chapter

There's a lot of stuff happening. We're gonna start opening the seals and looking at things if you're just now joining us for the first time

Please know that we Bryce and I have covered other chapters previous to Chapter 5 in the Book of Revelation.

So I would suggest highly that you would go back and listen to those before getting into the fifth

because we get into some of the ways that the text can be read and ways that the

symbols help to make sense. And I remember Bryce the first time reading this book.

It's different reading it versus, okay, now you have to go teach it.

I remember I was a first year teacher and I was called by my boss and he said,

we want you to give an hour

presentation in front of all your peers on the book of revelation and I was

literally like a deer in the headlights. I remember reading this going

okay what what do I even emphasize? I can really

feel for the teachers out there that are teaching this, especially with the limited time that

we have. And so I think what Bryce and I are trying to do is to go a little bit more detailed

so that you can have the background, but certainly you won't teach this stuff.

If you have a classroom, you have maybe one shot, maybe two at teaching these, But we're trying to give some background here.
