This week we went to Capitol Hill to interview Congressman Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin.

Congressman Gallagher is a Marine Corps veteran, holds a PHE from Georgetown.

He worked on foreign affairs and national security issues as a congressional staffer before

he elected the Congress.

Most importantly for realignment listeners, he was Hudson's senior fellow and friend

of the pod Michael Durand student at Princeton.

Those who are here in the episode, their relationship went off to an interesting start.

And as we wrap this year, we took a chance to explore the big themes of our first season

with Congressman Gallagher.

He's taken some foreign policy, technology and economics.

So this entire season we've had a theory, which is that a lot of the way to explain what's

happened in our country post 2060 and the world broadly has been that a lot of the assumptions

that we've had about foreign affairs, the role of a technology plays on our society and

even like the economy are being upended right now.
