I cultivated these relationships over five years, and it got down to about five names, right?

But five years later, when I was interviewing at the Gallagher group with this hedge fund,

I had five phone calls of the heads of trading desk all around Wall Street,

who had now had an invested interest in my career because I made a couple of phone calls a year,

and I was polite and I was respectful.

And so the jobs I didn't get catapulted my career five years later.

And so I think it's so it's so important to, to cultivate

relationships. So if you don't get a job, that doesn't mean like it's over. You're listening to

who is the author of a New York Times bestseller called The Buy Side. That was on Amazon's
