Today we're going to be in Matthew 3, Mark 1, and Luke 3.

The subject we're really addressing today is the bulk of Matthew 3 and Luke 3, which

is the baptism of Christ.

So if you go to Matthew 3, we read in verse 1, and those days came John the Baptist, preaching

in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, Repente for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isseas.

Now that's Isaiah, so now he's going to quote Isaiah, saying, the voice of one crying

in the wilderness, prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
