0:41.6	I have a couple things to say about Egypt.
0:43.3	We are not a foreign policy podcast, and I don't think either of us pretend to be experts in foreign policy.
0:52.8	But I did want to say a couple things about Egypt, if you don't mind.
0:55.9	I really do trust the Egyptian people to govern themselves.
1:00.3	And democracy is messy, and they will get there.
1:04.7	I really do have faith in that.
1:07.7	The other thing is there's been a lot of debate on television and so forth about we have guidelines, apparently, in the United States, that we cut off aid when a government is overthrown by the military and that there are ways around this.
1:24.4	Apparently, the check has already cleared for this year over in Egypt, so our check.
1:31.8	So they have a year before they have to resolve what to do about our military and whatever aid we're giving to the Egyptians.
1:39.9	But in a perfect world, in my perfect alternate universe, we would spend as much time worrying about theocracies as we do about military hunters.
1:51.9	Yeah, everywhere.
1:52.9	Everywhere.
1:53.9	And including the United States.
