Hi, everybody. Tom Woods here. Antony Samaroff, we continue with an episode on Marxism,

the subject of a forthcoming book by Antony. And we're going to talk about some of the fallacies.

And how to handle people who say, well, Stalin wasn't real communism. Whenever you try to raise

real life examples of this type of system, it's always that wasn't real communism. How do you handle

that? So we're going to have some fun today. Antony, welcome back.

Thank you for having me again. Today we're going to talk about a juicy topic that everybody

loves hearing about for some reason. We're not fans of it, but man, we can't get enough of it.

And that's Marxism. You've been doing a lot of work on this and I've read some articles of yours

that are quite lucid and helpful and easy for a modern reader to understand.

Some of the old critiques of Marxism, like for example, if you look at the critique

bombarderk had of Marx, somebody reads that in 2020. It's hard for the average person to get

what's going on. Not Anthony Samarov, though. So super. So why Marxism of all topics?

That's a good question. I guess when I read Mesus book, Theory and History, I was quite fascinated

by his critique of Marx in chapter seven. And I kind of wanted to investigate that further. So I

kind of started writing essays on it with that as my starting point. But as I went on, I realized

that in some places, Mesus doesn't take the most charitable interpretation of Marx. And that

was quite juicy to find out more about that and see sometimes when I write in these essays,

I kind of see Marx and Mesus in a boxing ring. And I like to take on the see the world through
