They described these guys as looking like dragons in form but having hands in feet like

a man in the apocalypse of Abraham.

Or in this strange book called the Testament of Amrame Dead Sea, they said that these

watchers were terrifying and appearance like a serpent and then they wore like cloaks

of many colored but also dark and then their appearance is like a visage of a viper.

So you have like man snake kind of descriptions for what these watchers are like and so it

would make sense that you would then call him a serpent because that's the general appearance

of what these creatures are like.

He doesn't have to be a beast, he could be a heavenly being.

So then you come to this word in a hosh which is the word we translate as serpent and when

it's chooses a noun it means a serpent but when it's used as an adjective it can mean

the shining one but if it's a verb it could mean divination like as in witchcraft.

So all these kind of ideas lend themselves to this not being a beast like a snake but

some sort of a different kind of an entity and then when you go the rest of the Bible

you learn sure he's fallen angel so of course that's what he should be thought of in Genesis
