Hello Waco's, welcome to another episode of Without a Country, I'm Corinne Fisher.

It's almost the end of June. I hope you had an amazing pride. Hope everything was great.

It was weird. I'm always, I'm always, it was like, well, I wouldn't want to say it's not like pride didn't happen for me because it did.

I mean, it didn't happen for me. I mean, I'm not, I'm merely an ally, a bystander, but I did do a show on the same day as the gay pride parade here in New York.

And it was called the Lesbian Agenda. And it was fun because the, the creator who's a comedian from ally named Sophie Santos, I had never met her before, but she reached out.

We have a mutual friend. And I was like, it's very interesting because like, I'm very well versed in male gay culture, but honestly, I feel like lesbian culture is a bit of an anomaly to me.

And even being in this space, it was in, where was it? I guess that's, you know, is that Union Hall? I think it was Union Hall. I can't remember. That's the big one in Bushwick.

And there were just like talking about things and like had inside jokes and stuff. And I truly felt like I was in a different universe.

Like, when I'm in a gay space or a queer space, like the Kesha crew specifically, the queer space of them all, or like a drag show, like I understand all the inside jokes.

And when I was at this Lesbian Agenda show, I was like, I don't get any of this, right? And so the segment was I had to go on and I was interviewed and I had to get in their words in the show's words, Lesbianic about something.

And a lot of Glazer had previously done spice girls, which of course is what I'm most knowledgeable about.

And I was trying to think of other things that I'm knowledgeable about right now, like normally I would have picked X files, but I'm not up to, up to speed on that, like, because it was so long since I watched it, so I didn't feel confident in it.

I did find out, um, Jillian Anderson, though, big gay icon. And most people believe like, like I actually was like under the impression that she might have been a lesbian, like they tried to trick me and I was like, but she does give off lesbian vibes.

Anyway, so I did Gilmore girls because I've, you know, watched the complete series, like almost three times at this point, and I could speak to it with a level of expertise.

And I guess the segment, Sophie usually kind of drags something lesbianic out of the person she's interviewing, and I warned her.

I was like, I am like unreasonably straight, and not even a straight woman. I'm more like a straight man. I tried, because I, this is, you know, a revelation that I've had recently, and I'm not, not at all implying that I am trans. I am just, I am, I'm, I'm still, I like being a woman.
