We just found out today that Thomas Rawls has taken back the starting role for Seattle.

And joining the shoulder chat about this week, two matchups, rankings, start sit questions

and answer questions from the listener mailbag is Matt Lutusky from the sporting news.com.

So Matt, Rawls is the starter now and Michael's back on the bench.

But should we dive head first in this news or is it just going to be a time share?

Yeah, I'm very interested to see how this works out because obviously last week they

almost had equal amount of touches.

I think Michael had two more even though he played a ton more snaps.

And they were about equal effectiveness when he factor in receiving.

Michael certainly was better running but Rawls had some nice catches.

So I do think Rawls will probably get maybe two to one advantage in touches or at least

one and a half to one.

I don't really like the matchup though quite frankly.

I thought that even though the 49ers racked up three rushing touchdowns and some rushing

yards.

Three point six yards per carry last week or the Rams did to the 49ers.

So I don't know if I'm ready to put Rawls in there as like, oh yeah, he's an RB1 or even

an RB2.

But I think he's definitely at least a flex.
