Hello, friends, and welcome to another episode of the Latter Day Lives podcast.

My name is Sean Rapier.

I am your host.

This is episode number 18.

And our very special guest in studio this week is Ryan Shoup of Ryan Shoup and the Rubber Band.

Ryan Shoup is an amazingly talented musician.

He's a singer.

He plays fiddle and is just incredible.

And Ryan is taking part in something we kind of teased last week,

which is the Light the World initiative that the church has.

And so we're not only talking about Ryan's life. We're also

talking about what they're doing for the church's Light the World initiative. And I'll talk a little

bit more about that too at the end. This week in my latter day life, we're going to talk a

little bit about Thanksgiving and complaining. And I've got a challenge to share with all the listeners.

And one other point of business before we jump into the interview, we have had some sound

issues with the podcast. I'm learning all this. I'm still new at it. And unfortunately,

we've had a couple of episodes. I've been a little bit frustrated because either people have come across as echoey

or just maybe the sound wasn't that great.
