My pastor at my megachurch, his first comment when I was telling him that close to a third of the people I'm praying for getting healed, he said, well, Satan can heal too.

My next senior pastor, I wouldn't tell him I was all excited. I'm about praying for people in God's healing.

And his first comment was, well, you know Satan can heal too.

He can deceive you by healing.

I learned two things from that.

Never place your trust in what man says about God's word.

Listen to what man says, but recognize it's only an opinion.

And then you need to go study God's word and let the

Holy Spirit reveal his truth. My deepest growth in my walk with the Lord and understanding

his word came as a direct result of those two men claiming that Satan was healing.

It went from a third of the people I prayed for were healed

to 90%. One thing that did that, it was fasting. Fasting moves you out of the flesh and into the spirit.

And then I went out, prayed for people 90% just like normal, go out in the next week or two weeks

later, and it was 10 or 15%.

Still fasting.

Maybe it was just a bad day.

So I went out the next time.

It did the same thing.

And then I said, okay, something's up.

Lord, what's going on?

And he said, I took away your gift of healing.

I said, why? He said, now took away your gift of healing. I said, why?
