It's the new year and just about everybody is trying to convince themselves that it's time for a

0:06.8

new you and a better you. We're telling ourselves, let's restrict what we're eating here and

0:14.2

starve ourselves here and muster up the motivation to overhaul everything that we're doing

0:20.5

each and every day. Well, my plan's strong cousins. I'd like to suggest that we take a different

0:27.7

approach this year. What if you made 2023 about getting more? What if instead of focusing all

0:35.9

our energy on taking things off our plates, we concentrated on what we should be getting more of.

0:43.7

Like fiber that 97% of Americans are deficient in. I'm talking about more fruits and vegetables

0:52.4

that most Americans aren't eating any of. I'm talking about green leafy cruciferous vegetables,

1:18.3

and that love us back. If you're not sure where to begin, come on over to planstrongfoods.com

1:25.7

and try any number of our spectacular and tasty products and see how good it feels to eat stronger food.

and it's not just the colors. It's actually the biodiversity of actual foods that come to our

1:50.9

gut that make the microbes healthier. It's the different colors of the polyphenols. So carrots have

1:56.7

correct noides. Blueberries have at the silence. Things like that. So these different colors and

2:04.6

breakdown products help the microbes thrive. They interact in that environment. They bring

2:10.0

biodiversity to the gut. They also bring fiber, which is super important to help those microbes thrive.

I'm Rep. Euston and welcome to the planstrong podcast. The mission at planstrong is to further the

2:24.1

advancement of all things within the plant-based movement. We advocate for the scientifically proven

2:30.8

benefits of plant-based living and envision a world that universally understands, promotes,

2:37.2

and prescribes plants as a solution to empowering your health, enhancing your performance,
