1:11.7	he wasn't actually a good politician. It wasn't even close. He committed numerous crimes,
1:16.2	including mail fraud. He served part of his term as a mayor in a prison cell. And under his
1:21.6	watch, by every objective metric, the city of Boston declined dramatically. The population
1:26.2	stagnated, even as other major cities grew
1:29.0	exponentially. Manufacturing jobs left the city. Boston's finances collapsed to the point of near
1:35.8	bankruptcy. So how did James Michael Curley hold on to power for so long despite doing such a horrible
