And one of the ways in which the world really works is that human beings, as you well know,

are not tennis balls floating down the gutter of life. Shouldn't be at any rate.

Unfortunately, you and I probably know people who are tennis balls floating down the gutter of life.

And here's a way to measure, by the way, how close you come to that unenviable, doom-filled

situation of being a tennis ball floating down the gutter of life.

Do you know how to tell?

One way is to measure how much time you spend in front of a screen during the course of

a week.

Now if your work requires you to spend a certain amount of time in front of a screen,

like me, I'm busy writing a book. So I do spend a certain amount of time in front of a screen, like me. I'm busy writing a book. So I do spend a certain

amount of time in front of the screen, obviously. But how much additional time on so-called

entertainment and amusement do I spend a week in front of a screen.

And each person has to decide for himself, but happy warriors monitor that carefully,

because the larger that figure is, the closer you are to being a tennis ball floating down

the gutter of life.
