Well, the most important thing is that Joe Biden is very relieved. He's in a very, very good mood this morning.

According to the media, Joe Biden has been just really upset about the fate of his son,

Hunter. It's been a very upsetting time for, I mean, never mind the fact that he was probably clearing checks from Hunter, that there are actual emails on Hunter's computer. Remember that laptop that's

supposed to be brushing this information? There are actual emails on there in which their text messages,

how he was paying his dad's bills and all of this. But the really important thing is that now Joe Biden can sleep better in the late afternoon. I would say at night, but he's really old. So like in the late afternoon, he can sleep really, really well for that afternoon nap, which goes directly into his nighttime sleep, which goes directly into his morning siesta. Well, according to Politico,

Hunter Biden has now reached a plea deal with the feds to resolve his tax issues and gun charges.

Biden has reached that deal to resolve a five-year federal investigation into his failure to pay

about a million bucks in federal taxes and his purchase of a handgun in 2018. That purchase of a

handgun in 2018, of course, was done because he filed a form that was false. That form suggested that he was not a drug addict. Meanwhile, he was snorting parmesan cheese off carpets. He was so into crack cocaine. Under an agreement detailed Tuesday in a filing in federal court in Delaware, Joe Biden's son will plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax charges. Prosecutors have also charged him with possessing a firearm while being a user of illegal drugs, a felony, but have agreed to dismiss that charge if instead he completes a two-year period of probation. That is a slap on the wrist, and everybody knows that that is a slap on the wrist. The Wall Street Journal has a long piece about how exactly this plea deal ended up coming about. According to the Wall Street Journal,

if approved by a judge, the plea agreement between the Justice Department and Hunter Biden

will end a long-run criminal probe into President Biden's only surviving son. One of the big

questions here is going to be whether the other investigations into Hunter Biden will continue.

One of the questions is why it took so long for this

whole thing to happen. According to the journal, the meandering inquiry took over five years,

over two administrations and came with many challenges, including disagreements among investigators
