Where we were is that there was an incident very, very early on in your life, which you write about very movingly at the start of this book that stayed with you.

Well, obviously it would stay with you forever in a car.

Yeah, I was, yeah, so basically when I was two days before my third birthday, I was in the back of a car with my sister Sarah, one of my sisters, and my mum was driving, little country road about a mile from where we lived, and there was a car that was on the wrong side of the road driving at speed and it smashed into us. And we, my sister and me were kind of okay, but my mum was severely injured.

And in fact, would have died if my dad hadn't been a few cars behind on his way back from work.

Because when the ambulance came, they were going to take it to the local hospital.

And they said, my dad said, if you take it a local hospital, she will die.

And years later we found out, well, not even years later, it was true.
