And on today's episode, we are talking about all things East Texas Showdown for 2024.

And I've got a fantastic panel assembled today to help me answer questions that came from the participants of this year's

East Texas Showdown. So on the panel this week, we have Harrison Cruz, who last year did the

showdown, and we have Vince Colvin, who did the slowdown last year, and Asia Roberts, who did the

lowdown last year. And so we have, if you're not

familiar, the East Texas Showdown has three different routes, all in one weekend, different

distances. And we have a rider from each of those categories represented from last year's East Texas Showdown.

So if you are participating in East Texas Showdown this year, this episode is absolutely for you.

In fact, it is almost mandatory listening.

We're going to be discussing a lot of important facts and just interesting information that'll help you

have a successful ETS. But even if you're not doing ETS this year, you may find this episode

informative if you just like going bikepacking. We're going to be talking about a lot of tips

about camping gear and how to deal with dogs

and other information that you might find helpful. And also, you don't have to participate in the East

I always love it when I see people pulling the route files and just going out there on

their own little adventure.
