The Tennessee lawmakers outrage that a mops sink might be used for Muslim foot washing.

This is over at Video Cafe at Crooks and Liars. These state senators from Murphysboro, Tennessee,

the Republican caucus chairman, Bill Ketron, very concerned about why this sink had been installed outside the House chamber men's restroom.

And that it might be to accommodate Muslims' ritual of washing their feet before prayer in the House chamber of the Tennessee State Legislature.

Okay.

And they were worried about that. know what was the intent it turns out

the floor level sink was installed for housekeeping use it is a mop sink yeah okay but you know

sharia law but it might have been used by Christians to wash the feet I mean it might have been used by Muslims to wash the feet. I mean, it might have been used by Muslims to wash the feet.
