Summary

Mark Ling has been a serial product creator and entrepreneur since age 20. He's co-founder of the Rocket Languages foreign-language instruction program, which I've promoted for years and which is featured in 50,000 libraries around the world. Hey, everybody, Tom Woods here. Very glad to be joined today by Mark Ling,

0:17.6

all the way from New Zealand. Over the course of 2020, we have observed phenomena that we

0:24.0

never probably thought we would see in terms of government mandates and shutdowns,

0:29.7

it's been very, very challenging for business in particular. Some businesses can't open at all,

0:35.6

some can open only partially. We don't have very good metrics or timetables for knowing what's

0:42.2

happening when and who can do what. And it's just been a horror for a lot of people, particularly

1:29.9

he doesn't have to be in an office, he can run that entire company right from his computer.

1:34.2

That's the kind of product he creates so that he can just do it from wherever. And he's had

1:38.9

amazing success with rocket languages. And it's a great product, as those of you who have bought

1:42.7

courses from it know. But he's in not just language learning, but he's in a lot of niches like

1:47.9

dog training and health and niches like that. And everything he does is something that he can

1:53.6

just do from his computer from anywhere in the world. And he's extremely successful at it.

1:59.0

He's created a lot of products and he's promoted a lot of other people's things as an affiliate.
