Hey, everybody, Tom Woods here. Very glad to be joined today by Mark Ling,

all the way from New Zealand. Over the course of 2020, we have observed phenomena that we

never probably thought we would see in terms of government mandates and shutdowns,

it's been very, very challenging for business in particular. Some businesses can't open at all,

some can open only partially. We don't have very good metrics or timetables for knowing what's

happening when and who can do what. And it's just been a horror for a lot of people, particularly

people who do run businesses. And naturally, the question you want to ask is, well, how do I

protect against this? What can I do so that I'm prepared if this should ever happen again?

And I want to talk to Mark because for one thing, I've promoted rocket languages,

the company that sells foreign language study courses that my daughter owns the Japanese course

from. I've been promoting them for years on the Tom Wood Show and or in my newsletter.

And then I found out that was Mark Ling's company. So that's the kind of company he creates

is rocket languages, for example, it's digital courses. So he doesn't have to be at a factory,

he doesn't have to be in an office, he can run that entire company right from his computer.

That's the kind of product he creates so that he can just do it from wherever. And he's had

amazing success with rocket languages. And it's a great product, as those of you who have bought

courses from it know. But he's in not just language learning, but he's in a lot of niches like

dog training and health and niches like that. And everything he does is something that he can

just do from his computer from anywhere in the world. And he's extremely successful at it.

He's created a lot of products and he's promoted a lot of other people's things as an affiliate.
