A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that Iceland was on our itinerary for part of our summer adventure,

and we just returned from our Iceland trip.

So I wanted to give you a brief rundown.

First, it's an amazing place.

We went early season, which means the weather was cold, the weather was rainy.

It was raining sideways most days. It was cloudy, but it was

beautiful, delightful. We had a wonderful family trip. I want to say a special thank you to my

mother-in-law, Alice Schneider, for helping us make this trip a possibility. And she came with us. She's

83 years old, and a healthy young 83 years old,

I should say. And we just had such a great time. Let's see. We rode Icelandic courses.

We did, of course, the Golden Circle, which is the tourist must do. And you get to see geysers.

And Gulfos just an amazing, huge huge high-volume waterfall, just gorgeous.

We did a lot of driving around through, I would call it the lower highlands and just had a delightful time

looking at and exploring lava fields.

We climbed a small volcano, got to look down into the

crater. That was a lot of fun. We spent a couple of days in Reykjavik and enjoyed touring that,

seeing what Reykivik has to offer, and it's a darling small city, really, really neat. You know,
