Summary

This is an episode aimed at helping you tune in to what you think and feel and becoming aware of the external pressures that may be hindering your creativity. There are a lot of journal prompts for reflecting on what it is you want – truly, and also ways to resist the performative masks you might be wearing in your life. This is also a selfish episode aimed at making all of you out there a bit more silly, fun and in your skin. Because I think we need it. I think we need less looking perfect, less oversimplification, less judgement. More complexity, weirdness and openness. A lot of people in the world are lonely and feel isolated. I think that a lot of this comes from a feeling of being dehumanized by professional spheres, working remotely as well as living and communicating on the internet. This is an episode about kind of a random array of things, but I think the theme is kind

1:13.5

of how to tune into yourself, and really seeing what's going on, seeing what needs attention,

1:20.2

and all of that is really aimed at allowing us to be more human.

1:25.2

And the main reason I wrote this episode is because I feel like there are all these systems

1:29.8

of sameness, and they kind of cause us to lose, I don't know, a sense of what we want

1:38.6

and what we feel, and a lot of that comes from just the pressure of culture.
