The Red Sox and Yankees are making major moves.

The NFL quarterback, Carousel, continues, and Phil Mickelson will miss the masters for

the first time since 1994.

We all know the Yankees and the Red Sox are two of the biggest staples in Major League

Baseball, and they have asserted dominance up till recently in the A.L. East.

The Yankees have more stars than a constellation map, and the Red Sox just locked up Trevor

Story to a long-term deal, and they have a formidable roster of their own.

But neither will be winning the A.L. East this year, because over in the nest in Toronto,

the Blue Jays have been building a little monster of their own.

Just added Gold Glove third baseman Matt Chapman to align up that features George Springer,

Vlad Guerrero Jr., Yuley Guerrielle, and Cavambigio and more.

They also added Kikuchi and Gosman with Barrios, which gives them one of the best staffs

since Gandalf, and the Jays are ready to fly high.

I know the rays have been shining lately, winning the division in the past two years, but

this year, in my opinion, it's pointing north to Toronto.

The biggest point I want to drive home, though, is the balance of power in the division

is slowly shifting away from the two mega-powers in both Boston and New York.

And is this a good thing for baseball?

I say yes.

With the new wildcard birth, you can damn near have the whole division make the playoffs.
