My mom was my best friend for the longest.

I empathize with my mom.

I do.

I feel like I've mourned a living person, and that is hard.

But I can't do anything that hurts me because I have to deal with it at home and in private. How long has it been since you spoken to? A couple years, maybe, like a, maybe a year or two. And so I was over-sexualized at a young age. I didn't learn about sex until you mentioned or tried to, you know, every time I like have a headache or stomach,

are you pregnant? Like, I'm not even having sex, you know? Why are you thinking that? Like, I'm not

even thinking about that. It was difficult watching her be more upset with me having consensual

sex with someone my age than you were upset about my dad touching me.

Hey friend, you're listening to Pivot with Purpose.

This is my show where I pivoted from shit I'm 30 where I was dreading turning 30.

I had a failed marriage, failed engagement after that, and I don't have a relationship with my

immediate family.

But through it all, I came out the other side with a thriving

business, an unexpected radio morning show of my own, and a platform where I can reach millions

of people and help them walk in their truth. I am now celebrating every step of my journey

into continuously finding my purpose, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Sometimes this journey looks like shit, and it probably sounds even worse, but it's still our journey, and I'm learning right along with you to enjoy it.

There's always a rainbow after the rainfalls.
