before Thanksgiving?

Because I hadn't gotten the food yet, so...

More planning on the part of Ben Olson, who had to postpone the recording of the Thinking Else that Podcast this morning because he was stuck in line.

Tell me, give us the live report Ben, not live report, but give us the report from Costco on the morning before Thanksgiving.

Well, okay, so I had my four boys with me, which range from the age of six to 14.

Okay.

And, you know, kids and I don't know this is true not, but maybe boys in particular,

they tend to space out a little bit, so they'll just be standing there and there's so many people at Costco and someone's trying to move their card around wherever and they're just standing there in their way and I'm like hey you kind of need to get out of the way or they'll jump you know to in front of people

we had several near misses but yeah the place was a total zoo. I also got distracted by things that I hadn't bought recently but thought oh it would be nice to have one of those things.

So we bought a tree and I don't know it just was a very long

process at the same time we have a ton of food now so I'm ready for

tomorrow.

Nice. Are you like doing actual Thanksgiving dinner?

Are you making a turkey?

Yes. I bought something from Costco that requires us to cook the turkey,

but at the same time, it looked like it was already halfway ready,

which I really liked the idea of just stuffing it

into the oven and then turning it on.

So we'll see how that all turns out. I did tell them, I was like, hey guys, like, it's our Thanksgiving, we can do whatever we want. We don't have to buy this stuff, but some kids did want the turkey and the stuffing,

which is good, I like that. But then there was a big demand for ham, so I like all right go get a ham and some other random stuff.
