What's up everybody? Welcome to podcast number 168. I'm your host, Reality Steep. Thank you all for tuning in. One of my favorite podcast guests is on this week.

Dalton Ross, EW.com. He covers all things survivor. We're breaking down survivor, season 40, Winners at War. Dalton is a guy who does more coverage and more good for the show survivor on the Internet.

His coverage is second to none. He's one of the best podcasts ever. I really love talking to him. I could talk to him for two hours about this show. You'll see. You'll hear us break it down a little in a little bit.

But I want to get to a couple things first. Last night we had an episode, Wednesday episode first time in shows history. I can remember being a Wednesday episode.

They usually do if they do back to back, they do Sunday Monday or Monday Tuesday. Obviously they had to skip Tuesday because the state of the union speech was Tuesday night. So they had to do it Wednesday.

But for those that asked and it was covered in read emails yesterday, but I'll clear it up again. The last two seasons have had episodes, two episodes run in a week.

So it's not like they're trying to fast forward through this season or this is something different or so far out of the norm for them.

Colton season had a week where they had two episodes in the same week and REC season before that had two episodes in the same week.

So it's still started or in the first Monday in January, it's going to end the second Monday in March.

Seemingly probably going to be another two night finale like we've had the last two seasons. So nothing about them airing two episodes this week changes anything.

A couple of things about the episode that I wanted to kind of point out. Obviously the biggest thing is the caddiness this season. A lot of people are down on the women and how much they complain and how much they run to each other and call each other names and it's just non stop bickering and oh my god, why are we focusing on all this stuff. It's always about the drama.

But you know, like I say every time a lot of people have short term memory when it comes to this show go back to the last season, which was Hannah's season.

All it was was people complaining about the guys. Oh my gosh, all they do is talk about Luke and all, you know, it's just how does she not see this you're saying the same thing about Hannah that you're now saying about Peter.

How does she not see this? Why doesn't somebody tell her all this stuff? You're saying the same thing like how does Peter not see this with all these women.

I just don't think it changes, you know, guys fought for 11 episodes on Hannah's season about Luke P. That's all the show was you know it and I know it.

They still had every episode was still the same. They still had one, you know, when they travel overseas to one on ones and a group date to one on ones and a group date.

But everything in between was so focused on the drama. It's it's the same thing this season. There's nothing different about this season. It's the same thing this show does every season season and season out.

It's just with different people because trust me, I'm the one that hears the brunt of it because you know you guys come running to me giving me your opinions and it's always the same thing every season.

Oh my God, all they do is focus on the drama. Oh my God, drama, drama drama. And it's like, yeah, but you say it every season and you're still watching.
