Today we're going to talk a little bit about hunting after the sun goes down in illegal

fashion naturally don't don't get us wrong there right off the bat but night hunting

for predators coyotes especially we have Matt across him from us Matt McHugh here and he is a

predator calling hunting expert we actually had them on another podcast here and depending on how these

release you may have heard it yet or you may have yet to hear it but it's another

great one. Kind of more specific to the day stuff. But now you I mean you said you do

what 99% of your hunting now after the sun goes down I mean when it's dark out and

your traips and around and time a day where you can't really see that much.

Yeah yeah well with the naked eye some of the equipment you have here will get into. You can see quite a bit out there. But this is something I know. One, I think we wanted to get into some of the topic of, you know, is it a whole different ball game when it gets to being nighttime in terms of hunting, especially again, we're kind of key on coyotes a lot here, but is it a whole different ball game from the

daytime or is it kind of the same thing just different lighting conditions and

then also I know a lot of people I think when they when they start talking about

nighttime hunting because of the limited visibility with just the naked eye

There's a lot of equipment out there that is designed to help you be able to see and then obviously make better shots and that goes into everything from just artificial white light.

You've got other kinds of light that are not necessarily visible to the naked eye, but

visible under other pieces of equipment. You've got thermals, you've got night vision, and maybe even some other

stuff out there that I might miss. Different colors of light perhaps? Yes, yes, exactly. That's a lot of the stuff I've been

interesting because I would love to get out there during the evening time, the nighttime.

I think one of the nice things about it is if you work during the day and you want to go hunting,

right? Your best bet is then, especially during the winter time, because it gets dark

so darn fast up here, I mean by 5 o'clock it's basically pitch black almost.
