I'm Gretchen Rubin, a writer whose studies happiness, good habits in human nature.

I'm in New York City and with me is my sister, Elizabeth Crap, who is definitely in a season

of stress.

That's me, Elizabeth Crap, a TV writer and producer, living in LA and yeah, you nailed it, Gretchen.

I'm very stressed.

I have been for the last couple months, but I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, in very, very appropriate for the idea of being in a season of stress, we had a lot

of people responded to the idea of the power down weekend, which we talked about in episode

65, even said that she and her husband have not a days where they just do not.

They block off to have in the calendar.

Don't schedule anything and make sure they have time to rest and relax.

And Gina says, my mom used to surprise my brother and me with what we called Templeton

Days when we were kids.

Templeton Days were a random non-school day where we got to stay in our pajamas, watch

TV or read each junk food and generally relax.

These days were named after Templeton, the rat and Charlotte's web and were remarkable

because they were rare treats for us kids.
