I was doing an inverted flat spin and it didn't come out.

And I was getting lower and lower.

And I was moving the stick.

I was trying to recover.

And I had trained for this emergency spin recovery.

And I'd taken like about five hours of training in this before I started doing this,

flying this particular airplane.

The training came to me. I heard my instructor's voice tell me power off, take your hands off the stick, full opposite rudder,

and, you know, I recovered pretty low. And when I came into land, I kind of, the landing wasn't

set up right, so I came back around and landed the second time. And when I got out of the plane, you know to you by 180 tack. Get out there and have some fun.

So it's just a, she's really a well-known woman in the community and,

and has basically managed to win herself many, many awards and recognition in aviation.

She grew up in a family of aviators after witnessing her father's career, flying for Japan Airlines.

Her interest in airplanes ultimately grew into a passion five years after witnessing her father's career, flying for Japan Airlines, her interest in airplanes ultimately grew into a passion.

Five years after receiving her pilot's license, Patty's desire to fly aerobatics led her to the U.S.

Arabatic team where she competed for 11 years.

She's won three U.S. aerobatic national championships and has also been inducted into numerous aviation
