Yes, it is official, the Russian government has indeed issued an arrest warrant for South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham following his remarks about the death of Russians due to US military aid. Now if you don't know what Russian officials are referring to, here's the video of Lindsey Graham openly celebrating the killing of Russians.

No, I'm sorry. I don't care what your view is on this conflict, but seriously, it's the best money we've ever spent.

What effing universes is this guy living in? Barely half the population is behind this, and this guy has the goal to say it's the best money our money keep in mind.

It's the best taxpayer money we've ever spent. Well, obviously, Russians did not take too kindly to that. An official body known as the Russian investigative committee has announced a criminal case against Graham accusing him of declaring the financial involvement of the United States is causing the death of Russian citizens.

Putin's spokesman Demetri Peskov expressed difficulty imagining a greater shame for a country than having such a senator and security council deputy chairman and former president of Russia, Demetri Mitvedev, referred to Graham as quote an old fool.

The arrest warrant, of course, applies only if Graham were to travel within Russian territory or through its aerospace, which I doubt he plans to do.

Now, while most of the news coverage is focusing on how this is yet the latest in the escalating tensions between Russia and the United States, they conveniently ignore the escalating tensions between the permanent political classes represented by elites like Lindsey Graham and the people.
