Hello listeners.

A few quick things before we get to this amazing new episode.

First, thank you to everyone who checked in on us in the wake of these wildfires here in Los Angeles.

We are fine.

But we do know several folks, including friends, family, some past guests, and actually some staff members at our radio home, L.A.

Who have lost their homes.

Our hearts go out to them, and I'm sure yours do too.

Now, as we record this, the wildfires still aren't entirely contained,

and there are actually evacuation warnings in Pasadena. So we are postponing our show that was

scheduled for Pasadena on January 25th. We look forward to getting that rescheduled soon,

and we look forward to hopefully being back in Pasadena for sure on Thursday, February 6th,

with scheduled guest
