If you look at the Arizona Cardinals record right now, sitting at two and four and last in the NFC West,

you would think it would be all doom and gloom for the whole organization.

But this week, they've been all smiles and you may ask why?

Because Hollywood Brown is out for at least a month, no.

Stud running back James Conner has been hurt and the Cardinals offense hasn't been clicking.

So why would they be excited?

Well, they're getting back the biggest piece they have outside of Colour Murray and Star White receiver Deontre Hopkins.

Now, Hopkins was suspended the first six games of the year for violating the league's performance enhancing drug policy.

And he left the Cardinals with a lack of playmakers this far.

But getting him back now opens up the offense in more ways than imaginable.

He's a deep threat that turns 50-50 balls into 70-30 or 80-20 balls.

He makes the easy catches easy and the hard catches easy.

He's a reliable target on third down and can alleviate some of the glaring red zone issues the birds have had up to this point.

But his biggest contribution is one that takes place pre-snap.

As an offensive play, Colour, you know the defense is going to be built around shutting him down,

which is going to make life a whole hell of a lot easier on receivers like Rondelle Moore and Titan's Acres.

It also helps the running game tremendously.

Safety's and linebackers that have been flying downhill because they are under threat of the play action are going to be a little bit slower.
