Hey, everyone, I am so glad that you have joined us.

Thank you so much for tuning in.

I believe the thought's got a word for you today.

You know, we're continuing in our series about what it is to enter into that place of rest

that Jesus Christ has for us.

You know, he tells us the writer to the Hebrews tells each and every one of us that we are

to labor to enter into this place of rest.

Now, it seems like an oxymoron that I've got to work to enter into a place of rest.

But the only work that we are supposed to do as new covenant believers is to strive to

labor, to work, to enter into that place of rest.

So from that place of rest, we can labor.

A lot of us, when we try to labor outside of a place of rest in Christ,

we start to become overwhelmed with what's going on.

Now, of course, I've been talking about the fact that, you know, a year or so ago,

I got to a place where, like a Navy SEAL, I kind of wanted to ring the bell and say,

this is just too much.

I am just overwhelmed.

I can't cope with this.
