Welcome back for another episode of Reality Life with KKC, and we're back.

If you listen to Part 1, you know that Chris DeRosa and I could not stop talking about America's sweetheart's Dallas Cowboy Chealaders.

We plan to do a full season review, so this is the second part.

We didn't plan to spend an entire hour just on the last two

episodes. And yet, here we are. So let's pick up where we left off. Episode six is called Baby

I'm a star. The NFL season has officially begun. The squad is in uniform. They're in the stadium.

They're performing in front of tens of thousands of people and millions

more on their phones. What the director is doing in this episode is essentially holding up a mirror

to the audience that's watching at home. Basically, here's what has changed since season one.

These women are not just Dallas Cowboys Childers anymore. They are global celebrities. They are bigger than the

team that they actually cheer for. And I say that with full awareness of how absurd it sounds, but it's the

truth. It's not absurd at all. It's because, as one fan says in the finale, the footballers are going to

break your heart and the cheerleaders are going to leave you with a smile. The Cowboys have not won a Super Bowl in 30 years. Now these women are pretty much the brand.

And what happens when you become the brand? People feel entitled to you. And that is the beating

heart of everything that this season is trying to say. Episode six leans into the social media

scrutiny in a way that the show has not done before.

The cheerleaders are reading mean comments out loud. And I mean mean. Body comments, skill comments.

She shouldn't have made the team comments. Reese says it best when she said, and I'm paraphrasing

here, the people assume the cheerleaders don't see the comments,

but they do. It's all over there for you, Paige. And that affects them because at the end of the day,

they are daughters and sisters and wives and friends. That's it. That's the whole thing.
