Hi and welcome to Ramdas here and now I'm Raghu Marcus. We have a great talk from Ramdas

from 1987, October actually called the Path of Awakening and I'm going to get into it

in a minute, introduce it. Meanwhile I have a couple of announcements. One of them is about our

and also I want to let everybody know about just a fantastic new book from a woman named Valerie

Carr, a sick woman who seek but they pronounce it sick so that was something I learned when I just

talked to her because I did a podcast with her on mind rolling which will be out in the next few days

after this particular podcast with Ramdas and basically well first of all it's called Ceno stranger

a memoir and manifesto of revolutionary love and Valerie has been involved in social justice for

a very long time both as a lawyer as a documentary filmmaker and activist and but this book has got

so many different levels it's got real inner social action as well as outer social action which is

core to what Ramdas has been all about all of the decades that he was teaching in the west and

I can't more highly recommend this book it's it's just out and you you be able to hear her

on the mind rolling podcast as I said and there'll be links and so on I there'll be a link here on
