Okay, welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the We're Having a Good Time podcast.

My name's Dusty Slay. I'm your host and I'm pumped to be here yet again for another

episode. This is, I'm doing this on a Sunday because I'm really getting on top of it this week.

My dad is supposed to come to town and my dad hasn't been to visit my dad and stepmom and they haven't been to

visit in a long time so um they would they're going to be here during the time that i would normally

record the podcast so i don't want to be doing it while they're here and then i don't want um

uh you know to not do one. So I'm getting on it.

It's a good day.

We've, yeah, I'm going to try to get, I don't know, I always say this and I feel like I never

do, but I really need to do it.

I want to get my dad on the podcast.

I feel like I had him on one time audio-wise.

I want to get him on and do a full-on.

Like, I don't want an interview, you know, but I'd love for my dad to just tell some stories.

I think that would be fun.

You know, we don't need to know the history of my dad's life, but, you know, maybe he could tell a few stories. I think that'd be fun. So I'm going to get into that. I'm going to see if I can do it.

It's a little harder than you think because, you know, my dad, you know, he's older and he used to

love to tell stories. I mean, he was all about telling a story, but he also used to be an

insurance salesman. So he was out and about, you know, always talking, you know, selling somebody on

something. And now he's been retired for several years. And, you know, I think he's, you know, if we're not

practicing our stories all the time, I don't think that, you know, I think he's, you know, if we're not practicing our stories all the time,

I don't think that, you know, we stay as sharp as we, as we need to in the storytelling.
