I got a running theory here on why there was such a massive, massive backlash on why you had the likes of Kid Rock and Travis Trent, and all of these conservative stars coming out in mass and saying, that's it, we've had it.

F-budlight, we've had it. You crossed the line here.

And my running theory, you want to grab your pen for this one. My running theory draws from classical geopolitics, ancient geopolitics, and ancient geopolitics recognized very different spatial logics that operate between what they called see powers and land powers.

So the Greek term, the ancient Greek term, would be philosophies. Sorry, I always get that wrong.

The lassocracies for see powers and tell you accuracies for land powers, the lassocracies and tell you the lassocracies, yeah, and tell you accuracies.

Those are fancy, fancy words that designate see powers versus land powers. And the interesting theory here is that societies that are built on coasts by the sea,

tend to create very different cultures than those that are built in heartlands. So land cultures generally are very fixed, they're very traditional.

And that's because the land doesn't change. The land exemplifies a sense of permanence that's then reflected in the culture. And culture anthropologists have talked about that.

How the culture we create inevitably in acts interacts with our ecology. And so that's why you get different cultures in different regions of the world. I mean, just even think about our music instruments, our music instruments are very ecological.

So if you go to the Middle East, they'll have their own instrument, if you go to the rainforest, they'll have their own instruments, because they're making the instruments, their instruments are being designed from their ecology, right, from the land resources around them.

So people who are land people, people who are in the heartland tend to create a particular kind of culture that reflects the permanence and the stability of land.

But see oriented cultures are very different if you think about it, right, they're generally in flocks, they love change, they love fluidity.

And that's because the sea is constantly moving without without a hard center, think of the term astronaut. That's a very interesting word.

Astro is Greek for star and not comes from the Greek noftoss, which is derived, we get or we derive the word nautical from it.

The astronaut is literally floating through space, right, where there's no center, there's no gravity, very much like the sea.

And so the politics that tend to derive from these two contrasting spaces, land and sea are often very different.

And so my running theory here is that America's heartland and all of you most of my audience is obviously from the heartland.

But America's heartland, the space of patriots and patriot culture, Christianity, trucks, guns, country music, faith, family and freedom.
