there is another country that is throwing itself into terminal decline sort of a little faster than you.

Well, thank you for that. I think it's something that America should aspire to, but actually I think we're already on that.

I was going to introduce Trash Future as

Britain's number one culture and politics podcast. I'm not sure if that's true, but it sounds pretty good.

You guys are doing great over there. You know what? Because ultimately British

broadcasting is weirdly walled off with mostly X TV comedians and BBC people and

so it's incredibly, how do you describe this? Kind of stuffy and kind of boring.

And so if you do a show where you're willing to make jokes

and talk to people that aren't, you know, screened out

based on the fanciness of their accent,

people tend to like it.
