I'm trying to do the detective work to understand the context of the Bible and what it really tells us.

There is a very big correction to the whole story of Babel and Nimrod and so forth.

But it does begin with Pahlig. Nimrod was born about the time of the Tower of Babel, but he would not have led the rebellion at Babel.

This issue of Pelleg, we want to talk about the earth dividing a series of falsehoods

that once we get the chronology correct, then we can clear up the understanding that we have of this very important section of Scripture.

The world wasn't divided based upon confusing the languages.

There was something else that was dividing the world.

You have in many coastal regions,

you will see cities that are covered with water

and sometimes a lot of water.

So much misinformation that has been propagated and retold over the years as we look

into what is the book of Jasher, what happened as the earth was divided in the time

of the Tower of Babel, and what does that division actually mean to how we have the earth that we have today with the separate continents?

It has a lot to do with the name Palaig, which means divided by water.

Doug gives us insight into the proper timeline of who were the contemporaries of Nimrod and who were not.

And so these stories in the book of Jasher, which is a false book, not the one referenced in the Bible, can't possibly have happened because many of these people that are referenced didn't live at the same

time. All of this gives us great insight into upholding the truth of Scripture and comparing

any extra-biblical book that we come across to Scripture. And when we have the proper chronology of these events,
