Hello and welcome to Business 300. My name is Philip Kulenshov and this is 300

seconds about business. We're all a busy people, so I have five minutes or less to get my point across.

And another five. There are more people who want to be a business owner than own a business.

A lot of the people want to get into business ownership, admire the thought, dream about it, talk about it.

They have aspirations, but they can't seem to get past that aspirational stage.

They see others owning and operating businesses and think it'd be great if they could do that,

but they aren't making any progress to that end.

There are a variety of reasons of why this is.

Some legitimate, some not.

And in just five minutes, I can't cover them all.

Some restrictions are monetary, some time-related, and others are connected to a sort of entrepreneurial spirit.

Back in episode 56, I laid some of this out and gave some ideas on how you can get into business ownership with each one of those restrictions. But sometimes, the restriction is more

mental or emotional even, derived from not knowing what sort of business to own. Some people

have an idea of blockage. Owning a business would be great

if they only knew which one. It's true that business owners arrived into business ownership

from different starting points. For some it was a need, for others an idea. Some made the business

happen. Others were sort of forced into it. Whatever your starting point was, if you own a business,

well done.

But for the aspiring business owners among us who can't seem to make any traction,

perhaps considering the following could help with your idea blockage. It seems that some people who want to own a business and aren't come at the question from the wrong angle. They have a false
