Since Ty and I are cutting edge and we like to be at the the tippy top of anything that's new that's

coming out the day it comes out today we're going to do something that's about six months late

to the party what are we going to do today tie so i guess you guys want to talk about showgun which

i have been watching with my wife, so I have seen.

That makes me feel very prepared.

I'm very prepared for today.

Wes and I haven't done this for weeks and weeks and weeks, so we're like out of practice here.

Were you familiar with the book, Shogun, or was this, is, or did you watch the

miniseries or is this your first experience with the story?

When the miniseries came out, I guess that was in the 80s, right?

Yeah.

When the miniseries came out, so when the miniseries came out, it was like the biggest thing

on TV, everybody was watching it.

And my mother went out and bought the book.

So the book was in our house.

And at some point, I don't think it was when the miniseries was actually on, but at some point, because I read everything that was in our house and I would run out of stuff to read.

And at some point I read it.

And I think that was probably in the, like within a year of the miniseries haven't come out, I wound up reading it because it was just in the house.

It's a very long book.
